One
of our customers, a chain of women's formal wear, decided to change
the size run it offered its customers after looking at some size reports.
Previously, the chain sold dresses in sizes 5 to 11 but this retailer
noticed that it hardly sold any size 5 dresses but on the rare occasions
that a certain style included a size 13, it sold out. Based on this
insight, the retailer shifted its size run so that it covered sized
7 to 13 and sales increased noticeably. |
